Hines’ Commitment to Safety

Nothing is more important than the health, wellness and safety of our guests and employees, and protecting those most vulnerable to the coronavirus. At The Avenue Murfreesboro, this is our top priority.

At this time, we remain open for business, although some of our retailers are making individual decisions to close temporarily, which we respect and understand. We will also be respecting any city, state and national governmental directives. It is a rapidly changing situation and we will make decisions based on the safety of our customers and tenants.

In that regard, we are closely following the recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO). Here are some of the precautionary measures we are taking to minimize health risks to our guests, our staff and our community:

-Heightened cleaning and disinfecting protocols of high touch point areas, including public restrooms, handrails, elevators, benches, trash can lids and door handles.

-Strategic shift coverage so that any employees showing signs of being unwell remain at home.

-Continued staff education on diligent hand-washing, social distancing (staying 6 feet apart) and other health guidelines recommended by the CDC and WHO.

As of Tuesday, March 17th we are also operating under the following reduced hours of operation to allow additional time for cleaning and reduce chances of exposure.

Monday – Saturday        11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Sunday                               12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Just as we ask our employees to stay home if they are sick, we kindly ask the same from you, our valued guests. As we navigate these uncertain times, please stay safe and healthy and we thank you for doing your part to keep our community well.

Please stay up to date with The Avenue Murfreesboro on which we will be updating daily—and follow us on FacebookInstagram and Twitter. And don’t forget to check your favorite retailers’ online offerings.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
