Trend Alert: Pantone Fashion Color Report

Posted by The Avenue

We have fallen in love with the 2017 Pantone colors of the year, rose quartz and serenity, but as fall approaches, its time to incorporate some additional colors into our wardrobe. Luckily, Pantone, the leader in color communication, has published their top hues for the season. From a twist on classic neutrals to tantalizing pop colors, your wardrobe will be camera ready with these trendy tones.

We love the calming feel of this color! Pair a Riverside blue top with a pair of jeans and your stable booties for a confident fall look. Incorporate this color into your home decor with statement pieces that compliment your existing decor – try a Riverside colored lamp or area rug. Stop by Bed Bath and Beyond for trendy home furnishings.

Airy Blue

Obsessed with Serenity? Then you’re going to love Airy Blue! Mix this light, delicate color into your seasonal looks for a flawless wardrobe that transitions from the warm colors of summer to winter perfectly. We recommend incorporating this color into your work wardrobe. Stop by Belk and New York & Company for fun business casual looks and accessorize with trendy jewelry from Charming Charlie.

Tip: Airy Blue pairs well with plenty of the other fall Pantone colors, like Lush Meadow and Potter’s Clay.

Glide into fall with the contemporary look of Sharkskin. Since the gray-silver tone of Sharkskin pairs well with virtually all fall colors, find a great jacket or staple shoe that you can create great looks with all season. The fall shoe collections at Rack Room Shoes have plenty of trend-worthy styles for everyone in the fam.

Aurora Red

What better way to make an entrance than rocking a exciting red lip? This is the fastest way to update your look with Aurora Red color; pick up a matte lip stick from ULTA and boom- you’re runway ready.

Warm Taupe

Talk about a hot twist on a classic neutral – Warm Taupe is the organic, earthy cousin of the classic shade we all know and love. Accessorize your bold looks with a Warm Taupe hat, or neutral banded watch.

Dusty Cedar

We are in love with Dusty Cedar for fall. The dusty rose inspired hue brings the previously spring/summer restricted pink seamlessly into the cooler seasons. Embrace the color by picking up a chunky sweater for those chilly Murfreesboro mornings. Feeling a little daring? Dusty Cedar would be a great color to introduce into your beauty routine – the ladies at Merle Norman could show you how to create a fresh fall face.

Lush Meadow

Do the falling leaves make you long for the days of rolling green fields and full, blooming trees? Lush Meadow is the color for you. This brilliant green will bring a pop of fresh color to your wardrobe and have you reminiscing of warm, summer afternoons. American Eagle always has great pieces that make you feel confident and fashionable. Check out their fall line.

Spicy Mustard

Bring the sunshine with you wherever you go – Spicy Mustard is a fun, bright color that will surely give you energy through the day. Incorporate pops of the color into your look with bold bangles, or commit to the trend with a great leather bag or overcoat in the shade.

Tip: If you are hesitant to try such a bold color, take baby steps and try it in a manicure. ELife Nail Spa has all of your favorite nail colors for fall.

Potter’s Clay

Oh hey, Potter’s Clay! This warm color creates an awesome autumn foundation for your seasonal wardrobe. Consider a suede skirt or leather accessories. Invest in a couple of pieces that you can use all season – check out Buckle for a good pair of jeans and the perfect seasonal accessories.

Last, but not least is Bodacious. Bodacious is the perfect unexpected transitional color. Pair a bold Bodacious colored dress with a Warm Taupe overcoat for a perfectly paired fall look.
